American Crew Face Off 2009/10

Congratulations to Dion, he has been selected to be in the last twenty finalists of this years American Crew face off competition.



The Hooka crew attended a fashion show and award ceremony at the Urbis Centre in Manchester on Sunday 29th November.



For making it through to the last twenty Dion will receive:

• 50 copies of the FACE OFF magazine for publicity ...and promotion materials
• A finalists FACE OFF 09 plaque
• £250 American Crew Education Voucher
• A years subscription to Hairdressers Journal

The following prizes will be Dion's should he be successful and win the competition, the final choices are made in February 2010, so fingers crossed.

• Return airfare and four nights accommodation in the US
• An exclusive shoot for a men's magazine with David Raccuglia
• Editorial coverage with a leading men's magazine
• Photos and editorial coverage in trade magazines
• A ‘winner’ FACE OFF 09 statue

Hooka @ Urban Outfitters 1st Birthday

We were made up to be asked to style the hair for the recent fashion show held at Urban Outfitters on the 1st October. Ami our Director, Ami Lou (senior stylist) assisted by Hayley attended and came up with some amazing catwalk creations for the models. With only 90 minutes to style ten models the girls had a mean task ahead but ploughed through and proved they are at the top of their game, below are some pictures taken on the night....

Ami Lou Cassidy

We thought we would take some time out to introduce you to some of the Hooka Crew (as we like to call them) and also showcase some of the work they have completed since working at Hooka, First up is Ami Lou Cassidy.

Ami Lou has worked at Hooka now since Sept 08, starting as a Stylist she has recently been promoted to Senior Stylist, Ami Lou has excelled in all areas of her career since joining us, she has a great eye for creative colouring having attended a number of Colour Courses provided by L'oreal.
